A downloadable game for Windows

Tomten is a game where you play as a forest gnome who likes porridge.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a game made in AGS (Adventure Game Studio) by me.
It's a short point and click game where you solve simple puzzles and interact with objects.
I have worked with this game for about 8 hours and made everything except the music. :)

This game is made for an Advent Calendar for the Indie game dev community in Gothenburg.

This was a nice and cosy little game. There is no ending, right? Just feeding the fox over and over for as long as you want? I thought perhaps I could saw off the top of a tree to make a Christmas tree, due to the hotspot called "Grantopp". I'll definitely let my kids play this, when December comes.

Is this your only project made with Adventure Game Studio?

Thanks ^^ No, there's no ending. This game was made quickly for a digital advent calendar. Good idea with the Christmas tree! Perhaps I should make this game longer :D

This is my first and only project made in AGS, but I'm curious about testing it more (or if I should try to make a point and click in Unity instead, not sure).

Both those engines can give good results, but as I'm in the AGS lair, so to speak, I can only talk for that. I take it you do know about the AGS site, with the game database and the user forum? It's very friendly, and it's easy to get help from the people involved in maintaining and updating the engine. But to be fair, there probably are advantages to using Unity as well, as some people have switched to that after starting with AGS.
